Well, thanks for your guess, Graham! And thanks for reading my blog, you all :)
The answer is...9!!! 9 jobs in the last 5 years...plus this new one = 10.
Today I learned how to prep a flower arrangement by 'greening' it - placing greens like ferns, eucalyptus, etc. to give the arrangement some shape and direction for the designer to then fill in with flowers. It is a creative process...creating a shape with lines and texture and colors. And the two ladies I work for/with both told me that I had an eye for design!! And that I'd have no problem doing arrangements one of these days :) Today I was just greening some arrangements for a wedding show this weekend. But, I'm sure I'll get a chance to help with some actual weddings too as that is the bulk of their business.
Here's an example of the 'greening' process...although, what I did was way prettier and with cooler stuff. :)

I was a florist for a season. It was a good season. Except for those times we had to make 57984334identical dozen rose arrangments. Speaking of which, happy valentine's day......
Congrats on the job! Any helpful hints on how to land a job?...because I have been striking out. It has been over a month now with no work. I'm going crazy...not to mention I'm PMSing like crazy. I went off the Nuva Ring. Not because it is baby makin time...but because I started throwing up the first day I put it in and I was having constant dry eye. Now I'm not experiencing any of those side effects...instead I'm PMSing. I have been depressed/bitchy all week, sore breast, bloated. Any thoughts on how to relieve this? I haven't had to deal with PMS because of my birth control. I feel like this is not my body right now. HELP!
Miss you.
Well if you think about it... You have actually had 2 different jobs at Summit which would make the number 11. Ha!
