Otherwise lost.

Bloomington.
I got to spend one long gorgeous sunny weekend biking around town, drinking good local beers, making and eating delicious food and laughing and talking with some friends that I know from my time at Summit Adventure. We took advantage of a $2 showing of the movie Milk in the Indiana University Student Union. I'm glad I finally saw the movie. It is a really well done movie and moving story. I loved going everywhere on the bicycle. Thanks Kate, Dustin, Curt and Ben for making the weekend so magical.

Kansas City.
My friend Laurie got married last weekend so I spent a week in KC helping prepare and enjoying some memorable moments with friends. It's easy to forget how beautiful the KC spring time is...winter cold and summer heat quickly over shadow it...but, it was a gorgeous week. We played in the park, rode bikes, ate delicious food including the best BBQ in town at Oklahoma Joes where there is usually a line out the door. Mmmm. The wedding was beautiful and successful. And I'm glad I got to spend such good time with my friends there.

Albuquerque.
Now I'm in Albuquerque. Intention is to feel it out for a possible relocation here. It's familiar in that it is the southwest...similar vibe as my southern Arizona 'home'...different from Southern California for example. But, I've not been successful at setting up visits with people or places here - like midwives or birth centers. So, I'm just kinda here...trying to imagine life here, hanging out with Bryce. Blogging. Homeworking.

I LOVE Oklahoma Joes!

Miss you. Be gentle to yourself. You are in major transition. These three cities are a short list for where you have been this year.

Love you.

Hey Leigh, it sounds like you've been getting your year's worth of travels all in one month or so! Be safe and have fun!

Is there the possibility that you might have some pics. of Laurie's wedding? Laurie must not have had my address; for some reason I didn't hear about it. I'm sure it was great! I deliver UPS packages to Oklahoma Joe's sometimes, by the way. I great place!

Take care, Robert
