my blankets
Every night, due to their weight, my blankets shift to one side or the other, of my bed and I find myself only half draped by the middle of the night. And when I make the mighty effort to lift them back on top of me I find the part back on top cold from the frigid floor space where they've been spending the night. Also, about weekly my bottom sheet crawls up and off the corners of my bed and barely retains its shape around the egg crate padding I have underneath it, which consequently gets all bunched up and wrinkly as I am nightly doing weird leg calisthenics to get all the weight of my blankets back into ready position. I haven't figured out what to do about it. Part of the problem is that only the head of my bed is against a wall and my room isn't big enough to change that part of the scenario. Making the bed has become quite the production. Any suggestions?

do you think we could fit a cot on the 3rd floor landing?
Just enjoy the bed, the cold, the warmth, with a smile on your face as you snuggle in once again and pass for a short time into the nether world of unconciousness. And be thankful.
I've discovered, thanks to my ever-wiser best friend Kelly, less is more actually...less blankets more heat all night and I'm thankful
Maybe you should swaddle yourself. That's what we do to Jonah.
