I realize it has been a while. I'm tempted to steal pictures from Rachel's blog to show your more amazing pictures of their baby, but sadly that is not part of my day to day anymore. In fact I'm in Oregon now. I've avoided posting because I want to include pictures, but all my pictures are on my computer and my computer is without power because my power cord was left in the land down under. Until I gain access to them again, I will just write a few lonely pictureless words here...
Thanksgiving at the Tirrills - Jack's money giveaway, lesson in generosity. Kelly's dad hid $5 bills around the house that we were all unleashed to find after dinner. We each person who found money had to come up with a plan to giveaway the money before the night was through...some ideas that were shared: coworkers with foster kids, grandkids getting out of rehab, the animal shelter, supporting a child through Compassion etc. It was such a great game, especially as it involved 4 generations running around Luwayne's house ransacking cupboards, frames, rugs, drawers... without breaking anything and then seeing each other dig deep into our compassionate centers to find how we wanted to share this extra cash. And Kelly's cousin shared a little extra on the history of Thanksgiving, which I admit I hardly remembered, so it was a good refresher on the generosity of the Native Americans when the old Pilgrims made their way to America.

i heart the tirrills and you.
hey--what kind of power cord do you need? My old laptop died, and I bought a new one, but I still have a leftover powercord from a Dell Laptop.
