LARGE corn dogs

I went to a didgeridoo festival tonight :) An event that in San Diego would have drawn the multitudes brought just a few of the faithful out of the woodworks for a great evening of dancing and shakin' it to the beat of the didge! I've never seen or heard it played like I did tonight :) Some of the best dancing I've witnessed and experienced in a while - Madera county's finest come out for the didge fest :) tie-dye grandmas, Mr. thirty-something preppy with a stiff brace around his ribcage, 19 year old dreadlocks, kilted Scotsmen and me just shakin' it. It was amazing. It was so fun being surrounded with the local hippie crowd both young and old. I don't know where they come from around here, but there they were. But, the best part of my night was the LARGE corn dog I ate. First of all, how many of you knew that corn dogs come in more than one size? not I...until tonight at the Didgeridoo festival. A small hand-dipped corn dog or a large one? A large one, please. It was the best corn dog I have ever had and of course the longest. And I think I'm going to go get another one tomorrow. Seeing as they open at 7am I might even be able to eat two more before the end of the day. I wish you all could have eaten one with me... except you-Laura, Jenn, Ashby (for sure!), Corinna (? maybe not?) and maybe Tiana I guess...but Tiana I think you would have taken a bite...Kelly, Leslie, Lisa, Ester - you would have loved it! It was hand dipped in their own batter and it was like a foot long...it was kind of embarrassing going up to the window to get this big long corn dog that I had ordered...people kinda snickered... and when the lady in the back saw me peering through the screen trying to watch her make my corn dog. She said to me with a friendly smirk, "hey what are you lookin' at?...let me tell you something, this ain't a corn dog...it's a porn dog!" !!! It was hilarious and... awkward... yep... And, by the way, to those who attended with me - the woman bearing her belly in the turqoiuse sports-bra was appallingly not actually pregnant as it may have seemed ...
